Training

We provide off-the-peg and bespoke training in participatory research and evaluation methods. Participatory research is a user friendly way of carrying out community research and engagement. We use interactive visual tools and engaging ways to get people involved in discussions, and to encourage everyone to take part. It works best when members of a community or users of a service are trained in participatory research methods. They bring with them a backpack of local knowledge, experiences and networks that improve the reach and quality of the research.

Comprehensive training

We offer a comprehensive training package for public and voluntary sector organisations who need support to deliver participatory research and insight projects with the people who use their programmes or services.

Get in touch if you need help with your participatory research project.

Short courses

Alongside our comprehensive training package, we also offer a range of popular short courses focused on Participatory Action Research methods and skills.

These include:

  • Introduction to Participatory Action Research

  • Facilitation skills

  • Approaches to participatory data analysis and reporting

  • Participatory approaches to evaluation
